Global Green Energy Development Center & GCL Photoelectric R&D Center Unveiled in Singapore
On April 24, the Global Green Energy Development Center and GCL Photoelectric R&D Center were officially established in Singapore's one-north technology hub. Du Xiaogang, Secretary of the Wuxi Municipal Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, Zhou Wenzhong, Vice Mayor of Wuxi, Zhu Gongshan, Chairman of the Global Green Energy Council and Chairman of GCL Group, and Zhu Huiying, Vice President of GCL Group, jointly unveiled the centers.

The Global Green Energy Development Center is an international green energy industry innovation and development platform that integrates "learning, research, production, trade, and sales". It has four branches, namely the Innovation Research Center, Cross-border Trading Center, Talent Exchange Center, and Investment Development Center. Relying on the resource advantages of the Global Green Energy Council, Global Solar Council, Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association, China-Asia Economic Development Association, International Academician Science and Technology Innovation Center, International Green Economy Association, Singapore Solar Energy Research Institute of the National University of Singapore, Wuxi State United Group, Temasek Holdings' EQT Capital, and GCL Group, it connects the world's best "talent, technology, and capital" resources, fully seizing the development opportunities of the "Belt and Road" and the RCEP agreement. It is committed to promoting the global development of green energy and plays a constructive role in the development of green energy industries, including research on development indexes, holding scientific and technological innovation summits, Chinese enterprises' going global, building a global supply chain system, cultivating and interacting with high-level talents, and establishing investment funds.
The Singapore R&D Center established by GCL Photoelectric, a subsidiary of GCL Group, is aimed at creating a global scientific research platform for perovskite, attracting worldwide perovskite research talents, accelerating the academic research and industrial development of perovskite, and fully promoting the transformation and upgrading of global green energy technology and application revolution.
On the 25th, Zhu Gongshan was invited to attend the "Wuxi-Singapore Enterprise Cooperation Talks". He said that GCL Group insists on taking an international path and has built a global integrated development system covering research and development, manufacturing, marketing, branding, and management. Large-scale clean energy bases represented by Ethiopia on the "Belt and Road" and clean energy hub nodes represented by Singapore will be the key regions for GCL Group's overseas strategy. Accelerating the construction of GCL Natural Gas Trading Center and GCL Photoelectric R&D Center in Singapore will help global carbon neutrality efforts with GCL's green and low-carbon core technologies and multi-scenario zero-carbon solutions.
During the event, Fei Zhi, Vice Chairman of GCL Group, and Zhang Jianjun, Vice President, signed relevant cooperation agreements with Wuxi New District, the International Academician Science and Technology Innovation Center, the Singapore Solar Energy Research Institute of the National University of Singapore, Temasek Holdings' EQT Capital, Wuxi Venture Capital Group, and Wuxi Talent Group on behalf of the Group.
