Amidst the waves of globalization, international collaboration has become a pillar in the implementation of the "One Body, Two Wings" major development strategy for GCL. On the morning of April 6th, local time in Japan, GCL Group Chairman Zhu Gongshan met with Ryuji Iwata, a joint researcher from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, in Tokyo. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on research in the field of energy materials, the development and manufacturing of conductive glass technology, computing centers, and projects involving natural gas cooperation.

This meeting was not only a positive "echo" of the previous visit by the Japanese research delegation to GCL but also a microcosm of deepening Sino-Japanese cooperation in the new energy sector. As GCL's overseas strategy progresses, the potential for transnational cooperation will be further activated, offering more possibilities for future global energy solutions.

During the talks, Zhu Gongshan expressed GCL Group's willingness to engage in deep industry-academia-research cooperation with the University of Tokyo in a wide range of fields, including energy materials. He stated that with the transformation of the global energy structure, the research and development, as well as intelligent manufacturing of new energy materials, have become particularly important. The University of Tokyo possesses world-leading research achievements and professional expertise in this field. GCL Group hopes to reach a strategic cooperation consensus through this meeting to accelerate the technical research and innovative expansion process of new energy materials and jointly determine research topics and directions of cooperation.

Ryuji Iwata welcomed Zhu Gongshan's visit to the University of Tokyo. He mentioned that the recent visit to GCL had left a profound impression on him, especially regarding GCL's depth and breadth of innovation in the field of new energy material research. In the future, the University of Tokyo will actively work with GCL Group to accelerate the implementation of mutual concerns and develop research plans that match the trends in the development of new energy materials.

When discussing the development and intelligent manufacturing cooperation of conductive glass technology, Zhu Gongshan noted that conductive glass is a core auxiliary material for perovskite production. Japan has unique advantages in this field, and he hopes to establish cooperation with advanced manufacturers in Japan through the University of Tokyo's industry-academia-research platform, to jointly promote the perovskite project for the benefit of humanity globally.

The two parties also had in-depth discussions on investment and cooperation topics such as computing centers and natural gas projects.

GCL Group Vice Chairman and Executive President Sun Wei, Vice President Huang Wei, and others participated in the above activities.
